Before I started working with Kristin I struggled with getting the extra pounds off because I did not know what I was doing. I am a busy mom of 4 kids and my husband is in school full time, so things can get stressful. As a child, our parents never had the healthiest of foods in our home. We lived on hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. Every so often we had some fruit or milk but for the most part, our meals were processed. Our mom would buy ice cream and fill a big glass bowl with it, so that’s what I thought was normal as far as eating habits are concerned. Most of this had to do with financial issues but as an adult I have learned ways around that and I wanted to do what was right for my family.
I want to live to see my kids grow up, so I decided to do something about my weight now before it spiraled completely out of control. The only person I knew, with the knowledge and education that I needed, was my junior high school friend, Kristin Orbin. I knew I needed help, so I sent Kristin a Facebook message and she took action immediately. She has been great with me! Kristin has pointed me in the direction of good tasting healthy foods that I never would have thought about trying before now. My healthy choices have changed me as a person and I am more confident about my future. I talk to Kristin once a week over the phone (I live in New York) about my weight loss goals, where my weaknesses are and how to turn those weaknesses into strengths. Kristin has helped me to get my stress under control and she has also shown me ways to modify my exercise routine so that it fits my schedule. What I really like about Kristin is that she can take unhealthy foods and make them healthy! When I first started my sessions, I weighed 156lbs, now I am down to 151lbs! Kristin has helped me so much and because of her constant encouragement, I know I will reach my goal weight. She is so supportive and will work around your schedule.
